    • A shepherd and a marquis walk together, surrounded by vast limestone mountains.

      The harsh and mysterious landscape erases the distance between the very different worlds they come from.

      The path is long, and only one of them knows how to find it.

      Their ascent of Pico Urriellu would become a legend in the history of European mountaineering, marking the beginning of what would later become the Picos de Europa National Park — the first protected area in Spain.
