- Synopsis
- In a remote mountain village in southern China, seven-year-old Guang is left with his aging grandfather while his parents leave for migrant work. The family’s fragile life depends on a single cow—until Guang loses it. Ten years later, now a withdrawn teenager, he returns each weekend to care for his grandfather and the land. When the cow vanishes again, the search forces him to face loss, responsibility, and growing up.
