    • Synopsis
    • Gomati hails from a small village in the Bastar region of Chhattisgarh. Despite living in such a tiny village, Gomati harbors big dreams. Every morning, she heads to her father's guest house—where he works as a peon—to assist with the cleaning and to cook meals for the guests staying there. Before reaching the guest house, however, she makes a daily stop at a specific spot to listen intently to "Mishri Ki Meethi Baatein" (Mishri's Sweet Words), a program broadcast on the radio she carries with her. She takes great delight in mimicking the show's RJ, for her ultimate aspiration is to become a successful radio jockey herself. Meanwhile, Chandan—a young man from the same village who now works in the city of Raipur and loves Gomati with all his heart— confides in his own parents and subsequently approaches Gomati's parents to propose marriage. While Gomati's parents readily agree to the proposal, Gomati herself is not ready for marriage in the slightest, as she remains steadfast in her determination to become a radio jockey.
Meanwhile, in the city of Raipur, RJ Mishri faces certain challenges in her personal life, despite her successful career. Foremost among these is the task of convincing her boyfriend, Ved—a struggling actor—to agree to marriage. Plagued by the frustration of his own professional failures, Ved is constantly at odds with Mishri. Weary of this chaotic and conflict- ridden existence, Mishri one day abruptly travels to Bastar. There, at a guest house, she meets Gomti, who introduces her to the region's breathtaking natural beauty, as well as its rich tribal and cultural heritage—an experience that brings Mishri a profound sense of peace. All the while, Gomti remains unaware that she has been spending her days in the company of her very own role model. Then, quite unexpectedly, Mishri discovers that Gomti is a huge fan of hers; recognizing Gomti's talent, she extends an invitation for her to come to the city. Consequently, Gomti informs Chandan of her plans to move to the city to pursue a career as an RJ, and agrees to marry him.
After marrying Chandan and moving to the city, Gomati finds herself facing a myriad of challenges. Supported by Chandan and Mishri, she confronts these obstacles head-on and draws ever closer to her goal—a journey that even inspires Ved. However, in the end, an event transpires that makes Gomati realize she has paid a steep price to become a successful RJ; consequently, she leaves everything behind and returns to her village. Respecting Gomati's talent, Mishri travels to her village and, utilizing the resources of her own radio station, sets up a small local station to surprise her. Now, becoming the voice of the entire Bastar region, Gomati emerges as the successful "RJ Bastar."
