- Synopsis
- Ema and Borja live on the shores of the remote Lake Pirihueico, in southern Chile, a place as fascinating as it is dangerous. Since the drowning of their son, they have led separate lives: while she seeks comfort in Daniel, who helps her search for her child’s body, Borja finds refuge in alcohol, violence, and firearms. The visit of an old friend of the couple, Alex, seems like a good opportunity for them to momentarily forget the tragedy. But Borja has prepared a surprise for his friend: he invites him on a puma hunt in the mountains—and hires Ema’s lover to guide them.
