- The story is about a guilt-ridden mother, Taryn Prentice, who is obsessed with finding a cure for her autistic son, Owen. Her search leads her and her family to a strange, New Age clinic. As soon as they arrive, Owen seems to make a miraculous recovery after just one therapy session with the clinic’s enigmatic director and her minacious, mute therapist. From that point on, Taryn’s life spirals out of control as she starts to doubt her own sanity – she suspects that her son Owen isn’t “Owen” anymore.
