    • Synopsis
    • Naturezas Da Música Brasileira travels across all regions and biomes of Brazil to explore the relationship between Brazilian music and the natural world. The series shows how different places inspire the songs that express the country’s many identities and cultures, while portraying the environmental and historical realities in which this music is created and produced.

Each episode focuses on one biome and unfolds in at least three dramatic movements. First, we discover the artists’ motivations and emotional bonds with their local and regional environments. Second, we address the environmental conflicts and threats facing that biome, as well as ongoing solutions led by local communities. Finally, music emerges as a transformative and resistant response, helping to shape a culture of care, appreciation, and a sense of belonging with nature.

Guest artists are invited to perform songs about the places that shape them—whether the Pantanal, Caatinga, Amazon, Atlantic Forest, Cerrado, Pampa, or the cities—and about how we are all part of nature. Some songs move us with the sheer beauty of the landscapes they contemplate; others bring in regional cultures and poetry; and still others sound the alarm about environmental destruction. Creation and devastation, beauty and protest, poetry and resistance are some of the themes and tones that intertwine in Brazil’s nature‑inspired music.
