    • Synopsis
    • Seven-year-old Megan lives with selective mutism, an anxiety disorder that silences her in certain situations, even with her Grandad. While her mum Sarah navigates an experience few truly understand, Grandad comes to stay for two weeks, and slowly, they build a connection beyond words. On the day he leaves, he gives her a phone. Not for talking. For voicemails. A way to keep him close. MUTE is a short film about childhood anxiety, connection without pressure, and the quiet power of patient love.
