    • Larry Lamb, a talented but long-overlooked newsman, is made an offer he cannot ignore: to edit a newspaper of his own. The proposal comes from Rupert Murdoch, a bold and disruptive outsider, scorned by the buttoned-up elite of late 1960s London. Determined to establish his own media empire, Murdoch has just acquired the floundering newspaper The Sun – and he's ready to shake up the establishment.
Lamb assembles a renegade team of rebellious young journalists, including the fearless and brilliant Julie “Jules” Davies. Together, they unleash a new kind of journalism – provocative, unapologetic, and wildly popular. Out go the polite headlines, in come scandal, sex, and sensationalism. Sales soar and The Sun becomes a cultural phenomenon.
But beneath the surface, a fierce power struggle brews between Lamb and Murdoch. Then, as the paper pushes boundaries and breaks taboos, the team faces a devastating crisis that strikes at the heart of their newsroom – forcing them to confront the human cost of their revolution.
