- Synopsis
- Mike is stuck in limbo. Literally. Mike is a ghost. Equipped with a healthy dose of cynicism, he seems to have accepted his fate in the in-between world-until, during one of his mischievous little stunts in the cinema that no one ever notices, he is reprimanded by a girl. Elli can see and hear him, and she is thoroughly annoyed. His attempts to explain that he is a ghost do not make things any easier. Reluctantly, she engages with him, and a friendship emerges perfect for an introverted teenager like Elli. Mike becomes her imaginary friend, understanding her loneliness and sadness in a way no one in Elli's life has since her father passed away. But a ghost must eventually take the final journey, and a teenager must grow up. Fate has not brought them together by chance.
