- Synopsis
- Eighty-year-old Maxy, a retired German Jewish circus trainer, lives with her only surviving bear, the forty-three-year-old Natasha, in a parking lot near Amsterdam. But a condition applies to this arrangement: Maxy can stay here only while Natasha is alive. The story of one of the last circus trainers of wild animals in Europe and her incredible bond with a bear, told through a time capsule using stunning archives and a contemporary perspective.
