- Synopsis
- An art historian and an actress meet in a studio. They have been tasked with recording the voice-over for a biographical film about Fernanda Wittgens, the first woman to direct a museum in Italy. To do so, they have only her letters at their disposal. Over five days, they search for the right tone, the right rhythm, the right breath of feeling. They try to reach across time toward the lost voice of a woman nearly erased by memory. And in doing so, they find something else. Something that speaks back to them, and still resonates in the present.
