From October 29 till November 7, 2026, immerse yourself in the latest genre films, shorts, and documentaries focused on genre cinema and its creators from around the globe. Enjoy captivating lectures, panels and more. Discover bold premieres, audience favorites and fierce competition across multiple awards. We're seeking the freshest genre (films, docs & shorts) worldwide—submit yours and be part of the magic!
Objective
Our goal at the Cannes Film Festival is to connect with sales agents, distributors, and filmmakers, explore new titles for our upcoming edition, and strengthen our international network within the fantastic genre community. Networking is central to this, and we are actively seeking new partners and collaborations from around the world, with a particular focus on Japanese genre cinema, alongside our established Indian focus, including festival collaborations and curated programs.
