Pune International Film Festival (PIFF) stands as a festival of global stature, widely recognized for its strong academic orientation and cultural significance. Dedicated to bringing the finest of world cinema to the culturally vibrant city of Pune and extending its reach to other cities across Maharashtra PIFF serves as a vital platform for cinematic dialogue and appreciation. Since 2002, PIFF has been jointly organized by Pune Film Foundation and the Government of Maharashtra.
Objective
PIFF is a dynamic cultural platform that showcases the finest national and international cinema across Maharashtra. It serves as a learning hub for students and filmmakers, reaches rural audiences, supports regional and independent cinema, and offers hands-on experience through active involvement in festival organization.
