Description
Le Fou Films is a Guatemalan film production company founded in 2020 by Axel Dettoni and Lucía Morán Giracca, with the aim of producing independent projects with "local soul and universal spirit". Currently, they are working on their first feature film, “Arena Negra”, in co-production with Jayro Bustamante’s La Casa de Producción (Silver Bear Winner and Golden Globe nominee) and Mexico’s Cuentos de Morras y Jevas. Nowadays it’s in post production and scheduled for release on 2026.
Objective
We create films rooted in territory and memory, exploring spirituality and legacy through poetic storytelling, engaging with communities and the planet.
