The “Film- und Kinointiative Göttingen e.V.” operates two single-screen cinemas in the university town of Göttingen in central Germany, showing films of high artistic value that often stand out from the mainstream. Every year, it also organizes the “European Film Festival Göttingen” and a silent film festival.
