Description
ristiano Sousa is an accomplished filmmaker, producer, and researcher based in Goiânia, Brazil, with extensive experience in the internationalization of regional cinema. He currently serves as a PhD candidate in Art and Visual Culture at the Federal University of Goiás (UFG), following the completion of his Master’s degree in the same field in 2024. Sousa holds several prominent leadership roles within the audiovisual sector, including Vice President of Fantlatam
Objective
To expand the international reach of Brazilian regional cinema by scouting new content for DIGO Festival, Morce-GO Vermelho, and GO FILM. As Vice-President of Fantlatam, I am looking to strengthen ties with international festivals and sales agents to create exchange programs and showcases for Latin American genre and diversity films.
