Alley Originals Inc is led by wife/husband team Marisa Emma Smith and Daniel Smith Arnold, and is an emergence from their multi-award winning company Alley Theatre. Collectively their film credits include LAWRENCE & HOLLOMAN (narrative feature), THE JANITORS and cuzlhkán kalaxsa nqwal?úttena (I am going to remember my language) (narrative shorts), the interactive docu-site WWW.MRSWARRENS.CA, and they are currently in post on the interactive feature INHERITANCE: A PICK-THE-PATH EXPERIENCE.
Objective
- co-pro & financing partners on THE GAIN, a sports drama to star Jacob Tremblay (Room, Wonder), Academy Award winner Marlee Matlin (CODA, Switched at Birth), and in talks with Academy Award winner Troy Kotsur (CODA, Black Rabbit) - sales rep and intl co-pro for ANY NIGHT, a psychological drama based on award-winning Off Broadway play - intl sales for INHERITANCE (completed), a linear and interactive narrative feature about Indigenous land rights, based on a finalist for Governor General's Award
